    Improvements to Collaborations

    I like the collaboration feature as an easy way to self-add certain figures that may be missing from the database. I would like to eventually see improvements to the process of adding photos to figure collaborations. Adding multiple photos to one listing is currently a bit clunky, as it requires you to add a single photo, finish the listing, and then go back to re-edit it to add more pictures.

      Thanks for this report. You were right, and it helped us find the cause.

      The gallery field on the collaboration form replaced your earlier photos each time you picked new ones. Because of this, you could only add photos one at a time by editing the collaboration after you submitted it.

      We fixed this. When you create a collaboration now:

      • Each time you pick photos, they are added to the photos you already chose.
      • You see a thumbnail of each photo and a count of how many you added.
      • You can remove a photo before you submit.

      All the photos are saved when you submit, so you do not have to edit the collaboration to add more. The fix will be live with the next update. Thanks again for helping us add missing figures!
