I think adding the ability to create some sort of blank placeholder with just a title, description, and/or uploaded pictures of a figure can mitigate the difficulty of adding every figure and variant from so many lines and companies to the site. It would add tracking for unlicensed 3rd party figures too. I also think it would be a good idea to add an option to make these placeholders public too.
